1. Who we are

Mythology Shorts ("we", "our", "the Service") is an AI-assisted video generation service operated from India. If you have questions about this policy, reach us via the contact page.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Wallet & payment metadata: top-up amounts, order IDs and payment IDs returned by Razorpay. Card numbers and bank credentials never touch our servers.
• Generation data: topics, scripts, uploaded style reference images, and the videos the pipeline produces.
• Operational data: IP address, browser user agent, and session cookies required for sign-in. We log errors and request metadata for debugging.

3. How we use your data

• Authenticate your account and keep your wallet balance accurate.
• Run the generation pipeline (script → narration → visuals → render).
• Provide a history of your past renders and invoices.
• Detect abuse, debug failures, and improve reliability.

4. Third-party services

To deliver the Service we share narrowly-scoped data with trusted sub-processors:

• Payment gateway — to process wallet top-ups (India).
• AI and media sub-processors — to generate scripts, images, narration and video. Prompts and uploaded reference images are transmitted solely to produce your output.
• Cloud storage — to host rendered videos for download.

Each sub-processor operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data retention

Account records, transactions, and pipeline metadata are retained for as long as your account is active, and for up to 7 years thereafter to comply with Indian tax and accounting rules. Rendered videos and style reference uploads are retained for at least 90 days so you can re-download them; we may remove older files to manage storage costs.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of your account data or deletion of your account by writing to us via the contact page. Deletion removes account data and videos; we may retain transaction records needed for legal/tax compliance in anonymised form.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Payments are handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS. Servers are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with TLS in transit.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

10. Changes

We will publish updates to this policy on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified via email where appropriate.
